Working towards net zero with CarbonQuota
In 2025, we started working with CarbonQuota to assess our full operational emissions. In 2024, our total footprint was verified at 264 tonnes of CO₂e, providing a clear picture of where our impact lies and where we can make improvements.
We now know that approximately half of our carbon footprint is attributed to electricity use within our production facility. In response, we’re already investing in energy efficiency upgrades and exploring the potential to install solar panels to generate clean, renewable energy onsite.
This is part of our wider ambition to move towards net zero. With CarbonQuota’s support, we’re turning insight into action and embedding sustainability into every part of our operation — not just our materials, but our processes too.
We’re also exploring how we can provide our customers with more in-depth carbon insights. Although the independently verified product carbon footprint study for our honeycomb board liners is already in place, we are exploring ways to further reduce our environmental impact. In the future, this could include lifecycle data that reflects specific customer orders, giving brands even more visibility and confidence in their packaging choices.
Together with CarbonQuota, we’re building a more transparent and accountable approach to environmental performance — one step closer to a lower-carbon supply chain for all.
Verified carbon performance you can rely on
In 2025, CarbonQuota conducted a full cradle-to-grave study of our paper honeycomb board liners, focusing on their use in food delivery packaging.
The outcome? A 35–70% lower carbon footprint compared to lamb’s wool and expanded polystyrene (EPS).
These results have been independently verified and certified by CarbonQuota, ensuring you can use them with total confidence in your sustainability reports, tender documents, and marketing materials.
This data gives you:
- A credible, third-party carbon figure per box
- A reliable way to compare material options fairly
- Evidence to meet increasing customer, stakeholder, and compliance expectations
- Peace of mind that you’re choosing a solution that performs in real-world logistics and climate metrics
You can read the full results and methodology on our Carbon Footprint Study page.
As part of our ongoing sustainability roadmap, we’ll be expanding this assessment in 2026 to include additional environmental impact areas such as water use and resource depletion. It’s just one more way we’re ensuring every decision you make with us is backed by science, transparency, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
